📵 DIGITAL DETOX — GIVE YOUR MIND A BREAK Technology connects us, But too much screen time can disconnect us from sleep, movement, family, nature—and ourselves. DISCONNECT FROM THE SCREEN. RECONNECT WITH LIFE: We need technology. But we also need sleep, movement, conversation, nature and silence. 🕐 TRY THE 5-D RULE: 1. DINING Keep phones away while eating. 2. DREAMING Give your brain a screen-free wind-down for the last 30-60mts before sleep. 3. DISTANCE Take regular short screen-free breaks from close-up screens during the day. Switch off unnecessary notifications. 4. DOING Move your body instead of scrolling during every free moment. Spend some time every day walking, talking, reading or simply being present. 5. DIALOGUE Look up. Make eye contact. Talk to someone. Remember: 📱 Your phone needs charging, 🧠 Your brain does too.   Let me clear it - You don't have to abandon technology. Just take back control of your attention....

Image
Senior Citizen Preventive check ups and Healthy Aging:   We spend enormous amounts treating disease.   A question: Why do we spend so little preventing it?   For India’s senior citizens, this question is painfully real -  Screening for- Ø Cancer screening. Ø Cognitive assessment for dementia/Alzheimer’s. Ø Vision & hearing checks. Ø Osteoporosis screening. Ø Diabetes, hypertension & cardiovascular risk assessment. Screening can detect problems before they become disabling and far more expensive to treat.    These are not luxuries. They are the foundations of healthy ageing. Yet many elderly Indians quietly avoid preventive check-ups because the cost is beyond their means—or because affordable facilities simply aren't available nearby. India needs accessible Senior Preventive Health Clinics. Why can't we create Senior Preventive Health Centres through government hospitals and community health facilities, offering essential screening free or at n...
